ICSTIS
Independent Committee for the Supervision of Standards of Tel Info Services - ICSTIS is the industry-funded regulatory body for all premium rate charged telecommunications services. It regulates services in their entirety - their content, promotion and overall operation - through our Code of Practice. Its role is to prevent consumer harm.

Telephone Preference Service (TPS)
Under Government legislation the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, it is unlawful to make unsolicited direct marketing calls to individuals who have indicated that they do not want to receive such calls. The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) helps you to make sure your telephone number is no longer available to organisations, including charities and voluntary organisations who may telephone you with offers and information you do not wish to receive
Fax Preference Service (FPS)
Under Government legislation introduced on 1 May 1999 it is unlawful to send an individual an unsolicited sales and marketing fax without prior permission. Fax Preference Service, allows individuals and businesses may register their fax numbers on which they do not wish to receive direct marketing faxes.
