What does the member board do?
The key role of the member board is:
- to ensure that the service is appropriately funded;
- to approve each annual budget and annual business plan;
- to determine the scale of case fees and subscriptions to be applied against members of the service;
- to ensure that the service adheres to the purpose and scope of Otelo as described in the Terms of Reference document.
There are six members of the member board, four of which are nominated by the member companies, and two appointed from the independent council members. They are:
- Chris Holland ( Chairman of the member board representing BT)
- Nick Smith (Tesco communications)
- Sheila Button (Independent Council Member)
- Nick Blades (O2)
- Louise Thorpe(Vodafone)
- Duncan Laker (Welcome Telecom)
